Herz Machine fuses with heart and soul the pulse of a post-punk attitude with the lyricism and punch of pop-rock. A passionate and original rock band with a strong musical identity, which has released 5 albums and 4 EPs (all available on major platforms, including Bandcamp) with over 80 original songs. Their fifth album, “NEW BLOOD,” was released on May 30, 2025. Promotion is handled in collaboration with M&O Office and has already received numerous rave reviews in renowned magazines such as Rock’n’Folk. “NEW BLOOD” tackles important themes such as redemption, self-transcendence and the search for truth through the man/machine duality, while retaining the band’sunique sound: energetic-punchy-power rock.

HERZ MACHINE – Rockers hearts
When your band name is “Herz Machine”, the least you can do is play with your heart. Moreover it is only by listening to their hearts that this band of buddies functions. And they claim it loud and clear, not hesitating to invoke… Marc Chagall and his famous quote: “If I create from heart, almost everything works; if from the head, almost nothing.” And Herz Machine put a lot of heart into their art! That for sure! As a result, Herz Machine’s music “pumps” right in the core of rock’n’roll and does not hesitate to mix genres: sharp riffs, an intro with an almost shamanic beat for the opening of “The Fire Healer”, taken over by guitars that leads the track towards a solid rock journey, before diving back into the more melodic and haunting intro of “Encore”, which has amore hard rock edge. All these influences are going along well together, blending and forming, in the end, a strong engine which will uplift you and won’t let you go. The Machine is damn powerful! Alain Meystre (who is the creator, but also the co-composer and co-arranger of the group) on guitar and Gaël Pellissier on bass are as synchronized as two ventricles juggling from one style to the other, perfectly supported by the aorta of Samuel Roch’s rhythms. And the pulsation of Dan Lagardere’s voice (co-composer and co-arranger of the group) completes the perfect sinusoid of this shock electrocardiogram. When you listen to them, it’s hard to believe that the pulse of this “cosmo-covidian” band -as these “cardiomusicologists” like to call themselves -has only been beating for two years.
